  • translation studies, linguistics and philosophical aspects of both of them
  • lexicology, lexicography
  • semiotic of culture

  • vicehead of the Institute of Russian Studies UW 1996-1998,
  • vicedean of the Department of Applied Linguistics UW 2012-2016
