Dr Katia Peruzzo is an assistant professor of Translation Studies of the Ca’ Foscari University of Venice, Italy. After graduating in Specialised and Technical Translation at the University of Trieste, she started working as a free-lance translator (mainly Slovenian-Italian) and obtained her PhD in Interpreting and Translation Studies from the University of Trieste in 2013. She was a member of the translation team who translated the Italian Code of Criminal Procedure in English. Her research interests are legal English, legal terminology and translation, terminology management, terminological variation, knowledge representation, and multidimensionality.
