Research interests:
- French-language African literature,
- French-language literature in the Indian Ocean islands,
- The concept of commitment in French-language African artistic production – in literature and music,
- The writing of the Malagasy writer Jean-Luc Raharimanana,
- Early French literature and its links with modern-day writing.

- Practical teaching of French as a Foreign Language
- Diploma (licentiate) seminar; 100 students of the University College of French Language Teacher Education received a licentiate degree under my supervision.
