  • 2009 – PhD in the Humanities, in Linguistics, University of Łódź, Faculty of Philology
  • 2018 – Habilitacja, postdoctoral degree in Literary Studies, Faculty of Oriental Studies, University of Warsaw

Research interests:

  • French-language African literature,
  • French-language literature in the Indian Ocean islands,
  • The concept of commitment in French-language African artistic production – in literature and music,
  • The writing of the Malagasy writer Jean-Luc Raharimanana,
  • Early French literature and its links with modern-day writing.

Professional experience:

  • 10.1996-30.09.2020, University of Warsaw – University College of French Language Teacher Education at the Centrefor Foreign Language Teacher Training and European Education: senior lecturer
  • Since 1.10.2020, University of Warsaw – Institute of Applied Linguistics.

Teaching experience:

  • Introduction to literary studies, History of French literature, Literary text in French-language teaching, Culture in French-language teaching
  • Practical teaching of French as a Foreign Language
  • Diploma (licentiate) seminar; 100 students of the University College of French Language Teacher Education received a licentiate degree under my supervision.
